47-year-old Jarvis (GBR) wins the toughest hard enduro rally in the world, the Red Bull Romaniacs 2022 – Lettenbichler (GER) in 6th place after a time penalty

In the end, Graham Jarvis’ (GBR, Husqvarna) strategy worked out and the 47-year-old Englishman clinched his seventh Red Bull Romaniacs title. Jarvis enjoys the highest respect among its competitors. He is a legend and a figurehead for the hard enduro sport and he deserves the nickname “King of the Carpathians”. In the fight for the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, he benefits from Manuel Lettenbichler's (GER, KTM) bad luck and will take the lead after the Red Bull Romaniacs. Ever since Lettenbichler was handed a two-hour time penalty during the rally, his focus has been on earning points towards the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. Michael Walkner (AUT, GAS GAS) ended up in 5th place, 38 minutes behind the winner
