The compact Aygo X comes standard with numerous advanced safety and comfort features. This also affects its connectivity, which is based on the modern Toyota Smart Connect system and the MyT smartphone app. With it, Aygo X customers can remotely query various vehicle parameters such as warning messages or how full the petrol tank is, determine the location of the car or even analyze their own driving style in terms of fuel consumption and efficiency. Toyota Smart Connect features a nine-inch, high-resolution touchscreen. Added to this is the ambient lighting of the interior. Smartphones are connected and charged wirelessly via Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, provided they meet the technical requirements. The multimedia system with cloud-based navigation enables real-time traffic information via Always Connected Services. Additional new functions and software updates can be automatically installed "over-the-air" via wireless data transmission without the Aygo X having to go to a workshop. The state-of-the-art LED lighting technology introduced in Toyota's latest A-segment compact car is now available to a wider range of buyers. The daytime running lights and the indicators consist of two light guides. They are framed by a smoldering light ring, which gives the Aygo X in the higher trim levels an unmistakable light signature day and night
