Truck overturns - driver must be freed by the fire brigade

An industrial accident with one seriously injured person and high property damage occurred on Thursday afternoon in Gundremmingen. Around 11:00 a.m., a 71-year-old was working with his dump truck at a construction site next to the state road. Fully laden, it reversed up a mound of earth to deposit its cargo there. During the unloading process, the vehicle tilted to the left and fell in the direction of the state road. The driver was trapped in his cab and had to be rescued by the fire department. He suffered multiple fractures, but his life was not in danger. He was taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter. The material damage incurred amounts to around 75,000 euros. Firefighters from Gundremmingen, Offingen and Burgau were deployed
