The new Lexus RX 350h - Efficient fourth-generation hybrid

Quelle: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

Smoothness and efficiency continue to improve with the introduction of Lexus' fourth-generation self-charging hybrid powertrain in the new RX 350h. The 2.5-liter gasoline engine develops 184 kW (250 hp) of power and enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, which is comparable to the current RX 450h - with lower emissions. The full hybrid benefits from the improved hybrid components also used in the RX 450h+ - most notably the new hybrid transmission with a more compact design, lower weight (around 22 percent less) and reduced friction losses, as well as the PCU, which is around nine percent smaller and more efficient. The system is combined with the E-Four electric all-wheel drive as standard. The RX 350h is an alternative to small-displacement diesel vehicles: ideal for customers who value comfort and efficiency.
