In its range of mid-engine sports cars, Porsche has two emphatically sporty and exclusively equipped models: 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 and 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 - the particularly sporty and dynamic driving representatives of the 718 range. They are aimed at design-oriented drivers who appreciate a high level of everyday practicality and at the same time do not want to forego pronounced sportiness. In addition to a wide range of performance features, the GTS models come with a high level of equipment even in the basic version. They impress with sporty contrasts and unusual details. At the heart of the 718 GTS 4.0 models is the naturally aspirated four-liter six-cylinder engine. With an output of 294 kW (400 hp), it outperforms the S models with a four-cylinder turbocharged engine by 37 kW (50 hp) and impresses with its particularly direct response and linear power delivery. Power transmission is handled as standard by a six-speed manual transmission with dynamic intermediate throttle function in Sport mode. The 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 and 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 are also optionally available with a Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK).
