Mercedes-Benz VISION EQXX demonstrates outstanding efficiency in real-world driving

Mercedes-Benz's VISION EQXX technology vehicle has proven its outstanding range and efficiency on the roads of Europe: On its maiden voyage from Sindelfingen across the Swiss Alps and northern Italy to Cassis on the Côte d'Azur, it covered more than 1,000 kilometers in real everyday traffic - on a single battery charge. The VISION EQXX started out in the cold and rain, drove at regular speeds, and was also in the fast lane on German autobahns at times at speeds of up to 140 km/h. The battery's state of charge on arrival was around 15 percent, so the remaining range was around 140 kilometers. Average consumption exceeded all our requirements and was a record-low 8.7 kWh per 100 kilometers.
