Opel Astra Plug-in Hybrid - Excellent 4 stars in ADAC Ecotest
Quelle: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)
Bold and clearly designed, equipped with top technologies and electrified for the first time, the new generation of the Opel Astra is making its mark. Especially important: The Astra always drives responsibly - as a combustion engine as well as a locally emission-free plug-in hybrid. This was also the clear conclusion reached by the testers in the latest ADAC Ecotest. The Opel Astra plug-in hybrid scored an exemplary total of 73 points. It thus achieves a remarkably good overall score of 4 stars - better than many other plug-in hybrid competitors. This is because the electrified version of the compact class bestseller not only offers a lot of driving pleasure with 133 kW/180 hp system output and a maximum torque of 360 Newton meters, but is also "one of the cars worth recommending" in terms of sustainability, according to the ADAC Ecotest verdict. For the testers, this is also credible and, above all, convincingly proven in the test: "Opel specifies an electric range of 67 km according to WLTP - with a restrained driving style, this is definitely achievable, especially in urban areas at temperatures around 20 °C." In addition, the Opel Astra also performs very well as a pure combustion engine, in the ADAC Ecotest the 1.2 Turbo with 96 kW/130 hp and 6-speed manual transmission. The environmental conclusion is: "The exhaust gas purification system of the Astra 1.2 Turbo, which is equipped with a particulate filter, works well (...). That's why the Opel also receives 47 out of 50 points in the pollutant rating" - making a score of 1.3 here. In the overall Ecotest result, the score is 76 points. As with the plug-in hybrid, this means a brilliant 4 stars for the Astra for the second time!
