The new Volvo EX90 - Powerful drive

Quelle: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

Based on the new SPA II (Scalable Product Architecture II) technology and software architecture, two all-wheel-drive versions will initially be offered at market launch, with electric motors on both axles developing a total of 300 kW (408 hp) and 380 kW (517 hp) and 770 Nm and 910 Nm of torque respectively. The range is up to 600 kilometers per battery charge (WLTP combined). Thanks to a fast-charge function, the 111 kWh high-voltage battery can be charged from ten to 80 percent within 30 minutes. In addition, the Volvo EX90 is the first model from the Swedish premium car brand to have the necessary hardware for bidirectional charging. This transforms the premium SUV into a rolling energy storage unit that can power the home as well as electrical devices - for example, the e-bike - or even other fully electric Volvo vehicles. Future rollout is initially planned for selected markets.
