From the North Pole to the South Pole with the Nissan Ariya: While preparations for a very special expedition with the all-electric crossover SUV are in full swing, the automaker is offering a behind-the-scenes look at "Pole to Pole." The modified Nissan Ariya, which will take the expedition participants from the North Pole to the South Pole, will cover more than 27,000 kilometers under sometimes extreme conditions. British adventurer Chris Ramsey and his wife Julie are responsible for leading the expedition and taking the four-wheel drive Ariya e-4ORCE on the adventure of a lifetime. To prepare for the rugged terrain of the Arctic and Antarctic, the Ariya is fitted with a customized, rugged exterior. A special lift and flared wheel arches for extra-large tires, as well as an additional body kit, also provide protection. The expedition will also showcase the power of Nissan's e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive technology, which perfectly balances performance and control. Precise control of power delivery and braking ensures smooth running and a stable ride. Nissan's goal is to increase the adoption of electric cars and contribute to a cleaner world. With its "Nissan Ambition 2030," the automaker is pursuing the goal of offering climate-neutral products throughout their entire life cycle by 2050.
