1,7 Kilometer length: Solar system installed at Nuremberg Airport

Nuremberg Airport has put into operation a new photovoltaic system with a length of 1.7 kilometers and a peak output of 13.4 megawatts. The over 22,800 solar modules are expected to generate around 13.4 gigawatt hours of electricity annually and supply the airport with energy on sunny days.
