Suzuki reveals more details about the new e VITARA. The first fully electric production model from the Japanese automaker will hit the market this fall with two battery versions offering up to 428 kilometers of range. Three trim levels provide a high level of comfort. The electric B-SUV is being built at the Indian Suzuki plant in Gujarat. The new Suzuki e VITARA is based on the specially developed "HEARTECT-e" platform for battery-electric models of the brand. It features a lightweight structure, provides optimal protection for the high-voltage battery, and creates the conditions for a generously sized interior. The e VITARA follows the concept of the "Emotional Versatile Cruiser" with a design that highlights both the advanced technologies and the presence of the vehicle. The full electric powertrain of the B-SUV, combined with the electric all-wheel drive system "ALLGRIP-e," offers stability and safety even off paved roads. The e VITARA embodies the design approach of "High-Tech & Adventure," combining the modern look of an electric vehicle with the ruggedness of an SUV. The distinctive design is accentuated by large wheels and a long wheelbase of 2,700 millimeters. There are eleven color combinations available for the exterior paint, including five two-tone finishes (optionally available in the Comfort+ trim level).
