Elon Musk has announced to put the takeover of Twitter on hold - allegedly to check fake accounts. Twitter shares lose a quarter of their value in one day. It is unclear whether Musk could use the accusation that Twitter provided inaccurate details of the fake accounts to back out of the deal or lower his bid.
