Oettinger Privatbrauerei plans to close its Gotha plant in Thuringia after more than 30 years. Oettinger also plans to completely eliminate bottle production. The plant is the largest private brewery in Thuringia and was operated by Oettinger for over 30 years. The workforce was notified of the plant's closure on Wednesday. 196 employees are to lose their jobs, according to Bild.
