Corona isolation requirement lifted in Lower Saxony and Bremen from February 2023

Lower Saxony's Health Minister Daniela Behrens has announced the end of the corona isolation requirement. The corresponding regulation expires on January 31 and will not be extended. Anyone who then becomes infected with the corona virus is no longer required to be isolated. Currently, anyone who becomes infected with Corona must spend five days in home isolation. The state of Bremen has also announced the end of the isolation requirement on February 1. However, it is not yet clear when the obligation to wear a mask in local transport will end in both federal states.
