The first day of the Visit Qatar GKA Freestyle Kite World Cup at Fuwairit Kite Beach Resort in Qatar brought bright blue skies and warm southerly winds to the venue. In the end, however, the wind was not suitable to start the competition at this opening event of the Qatar Airways GKA Kite World Tour season. Competitors took advantage of the available conditions to test and train on the lagoon at this amazing new venue
