STUTTGART / B27: Three injured emergency services from the Stuttgart police headquarters and a badly damaged patrol car are the result of a traffic accident that occurred on Tuesday around 4:10 p.m. on the B27, near Stuttgart-Fasanenhof . The patrol car, manned by two police officers and a trainee, drove on the B27 out of town in the direction of the SI center. In the Degerloch area, a gray Skoda Kamiq occupied by two male people was to be stopped and subjected to a check. The unknown Skoda driver ignored the emergency vehicle's stop signals, undertook a dangerous turning maneuver in the Loeffelstraße area and fled via the B27. The patrol car started chasing the vehicle with flashing lights and a siren. When the fleeing vehicle left the B27 at the Fasanenhof exit, the emergency vehicle left the lane and collided with a lane divider. The patrol car spun as a result of the impact and subsequently came to a stop at a lane boundary. The 30-year-old driver and the 50-year-old passenger were seriously injured and remained in the hospital. The 21-year-old trainee suffered minor injuries and was able to leave the hospital after receiving outpatient treatment. The company vehicle was a total loss of around 60,000 euros, the material damage to the traffic facilities and the road is estimated at around 25,000 euros. The Fasanenhof exit had to be closed to record the accident, and a backlog formed until just before the Sonnenberg exit. The pursued Skoda was able to continue its escape. Investigations into the driver of the vehicle are ongoing. Witnesses to the incident, especially those who were endangered by the Skoda's driving style, are asked to contact the Ludwigsburg Traffic Police Inspectorate on 0711 6869230. (pole)
