At the end of 2025, Australian airline Qantas plans to add the world's longest non-stop flight to its route network. Flights from Sydney or Melbourne to London or New York are to take around 19 hours. Other destinations such as Frankfurt or Paris are also to be served directly in the future. Twelve Airbus A350-1000 aircraft have been ordered for this purpose, according to Qantas.
