The new Civic offers an intuitively operated infotainment system. The central touchscreen has been enlarged to nine inches and positioned higher up to minimize necessary up and down eye movements. A finger rest for the touchscreen display also allows safe operation while driving. The six customizable shortcut buttons are now located directly above, allowing easy access to functions such as navigation, phone and audio. The physical buttons for the "Home" and "Back" functions as well as the knob for the audio control have been enlarged for easier use on the go. The infotainment system has been designed to be easy to operate while driving, allowing the user to access the desired functions through fewer menu items. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard equipment and allow problem-free smartphone integration
