The Warehouse Terrada in Tokyo provided the backdrop for the unveiling of the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 in Japan to mark the first deliveries to customers. A 1989 Countach 25° Anniversario was displayed alongside it to provide a reference to the model's past. The event was reserved for 90 members of the local press. They had the opportunity to interview Francesco Scardaoni, Asia Pacific Regional Director, Davide Sfrecola, Head of Lamborghini Japan, and Mitja Borkert, Head of Design at Automobili Lamborghini. The Countach LPI 800-4 was then taken to the streets of Tokyo and photographed in front of some of the capital's most iconic neighborhoods and buildings. The Countach LPI 800-4 is a futuristic model that will be produced in a limited edition of 112 units. It pays tribute to the original Countach, a nonconformist icon with revolutionary design and technology that celebrated its 50th birthday last year. The LPI 800-4 pays homage to Lamborghini's glorious heritage, but doesn't look back. Instead, it represents what an evolution of the iconic Countach of the 1970s and 1980s would look like as the exclusive supercar of the present day
