Sales launch for additional models of the new Mercedes-Benz GLC

The new Mercedes-Benz GLC is available exclusively as a hybrid. Now two plug-in hybrid models complete the range of the brand's successful SUV family, the GLC 300 e 4MATIC and the GLC 400 e 4MATIC starting at 74,922.40 euros. In December 2022, the GLC 300 d 4MATIC will also be launched, starting at 70,680.05 euros1 , making it another mild hybrid. Three mild hybrids have already been available to order from sales partners and online since July 2022 from 57,631.70 euros1. The pace of new launches remains tight: the market launch of the third plug-in hybrid model, the GLC 300 de 4MATIC, is planned for spring 2023. The new Mercedes-Benz GLC continues the successful recipe of modern, sporty luxury from Mercedes-Benz: The completely newly developed model series impresses with design and technology, sporty driving performance as well as comfort and agility. Also with efficiency: the new GLC consistently relies on hybrid drives. The model range includes four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines combined with an electric motor. The mild hybrid units use a second-generation integrated starter generator (ISG). The power spectrum ranges up to 190 kW and 400 Nm torque for the gasoline engines and up to 198 kW and 550 Nm for the diesel engines. In addition, the ISG provides 17 kW and 200 Nm of electrical support in each case.
