All-wheel drive systems are a Škoda tradition. As early as 1930, Skoda supplied 4x4 vehicles for the military. This was later followed by the Skoda Octavia 4x4, the Yeti, Kodaiq, Karoq and, with the Enyaq iV 80X, the first purely electric Škoda all-wheel drive model.
