Škoda Auto conquers Sweden! The Czech automaker is hosting a 4×4 Winter Experience event in central Sweden. The kingdom of nearly 100,000 lakes has one of the world's leading sustainable energy sectors in addition to a highly developed industry. Here, Škoda will showcase its full range of all-wheel-drive models, including the all-electric Enyaq iV family. Among other things, participants can look forward to scenic drives through unspoiled nature. Exciting activities, which focus on driving on a frozen lake, for example, round off the program. Highlights of the event include driving as co-pilot in the Fabia RS Rally2 and attempting to set a world record for the longest drift on ice without stopping in the Enyaq RS iV. Sweden has a thriving economy and efficient forestry and industry. Half of the country is covered by forests, and about 10% of the total area is used for agriculture. The relatively flat landscape is characterized by nearly 100,000 lakes, which provide an abundant supply of water. In the central Swedish province of Jämtland, the city of Östersund is located on the shores of Lake Storsjön, the country's fifth largest lake. It is there and on the nearby island of Frösön that Škoda Auto is hosting its 4×4 Winter Experience event. The university town of Östersund, with a population of around 50,000, hosts winter sports events such as biathlon and speed skating.
