Germany will supply battle tanks to Ukraine. But how many tanks does the German armed forces actually have themselves? Some of the figures for the inventory come from older reports, more recent estimates come from the "International Institute for Strategic Studies". However, it remains unclear how many of the German tanks are actually operational. The Bundeswehr did not confirm the figures when asked by RND.
