The new Mazda CX-60 - Driver Personalization System

Quelle: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

The new Driver Personalization System of the Mazda CX-60 works with a camera-based face recognition and includes up to three functions: An automatic adjustment of the driving position based on detected eye level and entered body height, an entry and exit aid with automatic retraction of the steering wheel and driver's seat (both standard for HOMURA and TA- KUMI), and an automated restoration of previously stored settings after a driver change (standard for HOMURA and TAKUMI and in the Comfort Package & Leather trim for EXCLUSIVE-LINE). The automatic adjustment of the driving position detects the eye level with the help of the camera and takes into account the entered body height of the driver. The seat, steering wheel (HOMURA and TAKUMI only), head-up display and exterior mirrors are then automatically adjusted to adopt what Mazda considers to be the optimum driving position. Automatic settings restoration uses facial recognition and data from more than 250 settings stored in the vehicle - including driving position, audio system and climate control - to quickly and automatically restore personal settings when the driver changes. The system can store settings for up to six drivers registered to the vehicle plus guests.
