The new Lexus RZ is equipped with the advanced active safety and driver assistance systems of the third generation Lexus Safety System +. With enhanced and additional features, they detect even more potential hazards, warn the driver and assist with steering, braking and acceleration as needed to avoid collisions or mitigate the consequences of a collision. They also take the strain off the driver and make driving less strenuous. With the help of the data communication module (DCM), the safety systems can be updated wirelessly "over the air" without having to take the vehicle to the workshop. Together with the extensive passive safety technologies and the robust design of the RZ, the safety and assistance systems provide comprehensive protection for all occupants.
