The optional "Travel Assist with swarm data" is now also available in the ID.3. With "ACC" speed and distance control for longitudinal guidance from 0 km/h up to the maximum speed and "Lane Assist" lane departure warning for lateral guidance, the driver assistance system can rely on two tried-and-tested systems that operate fully networked with each other in the new ID.3. If swarm data is available, Travel Assist only needs to detect a lane boundary on rural roads to maintain its lane.
