Quelle: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)
The Kia EV4 combines physical design and technological elements for market-leading comfort and connectivity in a sedan and hatchback model, both fully electric. The smartphone-based Digital Key 2.0 from Kia provides easy access, engine start, and remote control functions when approaching the car. Access is possible for up to 15 devices through the app, including Apple WatchTM. On the go, Kia's customizable 'i-Pedal 3.0' system - in addition to the EV4's adaptive 'Smart Regenerative Braking' function - enhances driving comfort and ease of operation at all stages of regenerative braking. The 'i-Pedal 3.0' system also enables smooth, easy maneuvering in reverse, while the EV4's 'i-Pedal Memory' function ensures that the car returns to the last used i-Pedal setting upon restart. The EV4's Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) with a 30-inch widescreen display featuring 12.3-inch, 5.3-inch, and 12.3-inch screens sets new standards for in-car entertainment. With Kia's newly introduced Remote OTA Update, customers can update via their mobile phone and seamlessly connect with their vehicles. Additionally, thanks to the innovative connectivity feature, customers can use new display themes related to NBA and Disney content to personalize their vehicle. Furthermore, the innovative Vehicle-Smart-TV solution takes infotainment technology to the next level, offering a variety of entertainment options including YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, games, and karaoke. Supporting a variety of formats (e.g., 21:9 aspect ratio) for YouTube and Netflix content, the system's display can be extensively utilized for an immersive experience throughout the interior. The system can be continuously expanded through an app store with additional categorized content such as streaming services, games, and news.
