New Subaru Forester - Engine and Drive

Quelle: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

The new Forester combines permanent symmetrical all-wheel drive with the e-Boxer: The boxer engine, which now develops 100 kW/136 PS and 182 Nm of torque from two liters of displacement as in other Subaru models, is accompanied by a small electric motor. The mild hybrid system, with an additional 12 kW/17 PS of power and 66 Nm of torque, improves acceleration and responsiveness from the start - with lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions compared to purely conventionally powered variants.
