At 300 km/h (186 mph), approximately 83 percent of the drive energy must be expended to overcome air resistance. Efficient aerodynamics are all the more important in the high-performance segment, as the CONCEPT AMG GT XX completed the majority of its extreme test in Nardò at precisely these 300 km/h (186 mph). The vehicle is therefore aerodynamically optimized for high speeds. The sporty body is characterized by the low hood and sleek greenhouse. Added to this are the low-slung front end with side air curtains, the side front splitters in front of the front wheels, and the long, wide rear end with a diffuser and side blades.
