The new BMW iX3 Highlights

The new BMW iX3 sets new standards for digital user experience with BMW Panoramic iDrive, taking intuitive operation and brand-typical driver orientation to a new level. Thanks to a holistic sustainability concept, it has a more than 30 percent lower Product Carbon Footprint over its entire lifecycle compared to its predecessor. The first model of the New Class is produced at the newly built BMW Group plant in Debrecen, Hungary. From autumn 2025, the fully electric SAV will roll off the line as the BMW iX3 50 xDrive with a power output of 345 kW/469 PS and electric all-wheel drive. Additional fully electric drive variants will follow, including an entry-level model. The market launch of the new BMW iX3 begins in spring 2026 in Europe and in summer 2026 in the USA. Also in summer 2026, delivery of a variant of the new BMW iX3 manufactured at the Shenyang production site and specially tailored to the wishes and needs of customers in China will commence. Compared to its namesake predecessor, the new BMW iX3 embodies a leap in development that goes far beyond a conventional model change. The advances in design and technology give the impression that an entire vehicle generation has been skipped. For the BMW Group, the launch of the new BMW iX3 also marks a milestone in the transformation process in the areas of electrification, digitalization, and circularity. As the spearhead of the New Class, it offers the latest design and technology innovations that will shape the entire model lineup of the brand in the future. By 2027, the technologies of the New Class will be integrated into a total of 40 new models and model updates.
