The new Polestar 3 with 800-volt technology - Options and Package Structure
Quelle: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)
The 2026 model year introduces a new equipment structure: Polestar 3 Rear Motor, Dual Motor, and Performance. The new nomenclature is intended to better differentiate between the models. As part of this transition, an optimized battery capacity is introduced for the entry-level Polestar 3 Rear Motor, while the active air suspension becomes optional for the Dual Motor, but remains standard for the Performance version. These equipment variants are also reflected in the seatbelt design: monochrome black for the rear motor, black with Swedish golden details for the Dual Motor, and fully in Swedish gold for the Performance version, emphasizing its position as the most powerful version of the Polestar 3. A revised strategy for packages and options makes it easier for customers to customize their vehicle. The Climate Package includes heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated front windshield wipers. The new Prime Package combines the Pilot, Plus, and Climate packages with tinted rear windows. The Bowers & Wilkins audio system with headrest speakers and active noise cancellation is offered both as a standalone option and as part of the Plus package. In the exterior, the new Storm exterior color, a dark gray metallic shade, replaces the Thunder paint. Additionally, the door labels have been revised to include the model variant and a larger font for the Polestar 3 designation. In the interior, the standard equipment has been upgraded to bio-based MicroTech in the Charcoal color with aluminum trim inserts, which was previously available as an optional feature.
