The Audi Q3 - High-end lighting technology turns night into day

The lighting technology of the new Audi Q3 is available for the first time in the Audi compact segment – the adaptation of the digital matrix LED headlights from the upper class makes it possible. For this purpose, the new Q3 uses the micro LED module for the first time at Audi, which replaces the DMD module. On the approximately 13 millimeter wide module, there are 25,600 micro LEDs. Each individual micro LED is about 40 micrometers in size, roughly half the thickness of a human hair. The use of this micro LED technology creates significantly improved illumination, resulting in a very clear contrast on the road – particularly advantageous in challenging weather conditions.
