The A290 Rally is a true entry-level model for motorsport. It is based on the excellent chassis of the A290 and has been adapted to the requirements of its future racing environment and competitive field. Alpine Racing has made several improvements, starting with the suspension and a special suspension with ALP Racing Suspension dampers to ensure perfect vehicle control under racing conditions. The dampers also allow the ride height to be adjusted, so the car can be adapted to all types of terrain. In addition, the A290 Rally has special steering knuckles to allow camber adjustment, while the track is adjustable like the production vehicle. The suspension and stabilizers are also custom-made. Their increased stiffness ensures optimal chassis stability even under the extreme conditions of rally racing.
