The Škoda Elroq receives 5 stars in the Euro NCAP test

In the first of the four rated categories, 'Adult Protection', the Škoda Elroq achieved 90 percent, well above the 80 percent required for a 5-star rating. The assessment includes four crash tests: a frontal impact at 50 km/h on a movable deformable barrier, a frontal impact at 50 km/h on a rigid wall, a side impact at 60 km/h on a mobile barrier, and a side impact at 32 km/h on a pole. The assessment also considers protection against whiplash in a rear-end collision and post-crash safety systems, such as the multi-collision brake and automatic window lowering in submersion attempts. In the 'Child Safety' area, the Elroq scored 87 percent. Both in the frontal and side impact tests, the child dummies experienced very low loads, resulting in consistently positive results in this category. The Elroq also scored the maximum points for easy installation and compatibility with a variety of child seats.
