Heiner Kockerbeck is the spokesman for "Die Linke" in the Cologne City Council. The comprehensive school teacher has very special memories of the Waidmarkt, where the Historical Archive of the City of Cologne once collapsed - because he had previously lived in one of the neighboring buildings. The building has since been demolished, so KiVVON chief reporter Frank Überall met him at a wasteland on the edge of the construction site. Here, where Heiner Kockerbeck used to live between Cologne's south and city centers, he talks about his memories and, of course, social life in the district before the collapse disaster struck.
