Several representative studies commissioned by real estate and furnishing companies provide fairly recent evidence: the look of one's home has become even more important in times of the Corona pandemic. The home one occupies oneself should be the most beautiful, as a place of retreat and an oasis of well-being. In times of lockdown, the importance of this has grown even more, with just under half of Germans considering the home to be even more important. A trend that has also grown in parallel is the use of materials that are at least ecologically safe, preferably even suitable for recycling. A trend that not only serves as a common thread at Heimtextil in Frankfurt - but is actually the overriding theme of the trade fair.
