Bitkom Smart City Index - Nuremberg ranked 4th

Nuremberg is one of the most digital cities in Germany. In the new Smart City Index of the digital association Bitkom, the city ranks fourth nationwide. Nuremberg thus improves by four places. Only Stuttgart, Munich, and Hamburg perform better. Nuremberg is particularly strong in digital administration: here the city scores full points and shares first place nationwide with Krefeld. Bavaria as a whole also performs well: with an average of 79.9 points, the Free State displaces Baden-Württemberg as the strongest federal state in the ranking.
