World record achieved: Wombacher cook with the heaviest dumpling in the world weighing 465 kilograms

For the 700th anniversary of the village of Wombach (Lkr. Main-Spessart) on Saturday, the heaviest dumpling in the world was cooked. The dumpling from Wombach weighed 464.8 kilos, almost 100 kilograms heavier than the previous record from Jena, Thuringia. The preparations took about one and a half years.
