Schäuferla, Schäuferle or Schäufele? No matter what, it simply belongs to the Franconian cult dishes. The name-giving is the bone of the pig's shoulder, which is used for the typical Franconian dish and whose appearance resembles a shovel. The special thing about our Franconian Schäufele is clearly the crispy and totally delicious crust! The Schäuferla is served quite traditionally with Franconian dumplings, sauerkraut, red cabbage or a delicious salad!
