Circuses are a piece of wandering tradition. Life as a showman or showwoman is a fascinating world, where much is uncertain. During the Corona pandemic, circuses had a particularly hard time. They struggled to find a pitch, were not allowed to perform, yet had to care for their families and animals. The Allgäu Circus Serano was in dire straits at the time. We asked how the circus is doing today.
