Every German buys an average of 60 new clothing items per year, with a large portion remaining unworn. The fashion industry is responsible for a significant share of CO2 emissions - and a lot of waste. 92 million tons of textile waste are generated each year - the weight of 15,000 Eiffel Towers. However, there is also a counter-movement. Eva Heerdegen has a small 'Fair Fashion Store' in Bregenz. We talked to her about the store's concept and received tips for our own shopping behavior.
