Rubik's Cube in a few seconds? At the Speedcubing tournament in Neuburg an der Kammel, 85 participants from 17 nations showed what is possible with practice and brains. Particularly impressive: Noah Kraft from Fürth solves the 3x3 cube blindfolded - in just 22 seconds! For this, he memorizes up to 800 algorithms. Also, Jonas Pilhöfer, currently ranked 14th in the world in one-handed solving, shines with a time of under 10 seconds. In addition to professionals, beginners could also participate. A total of nine disciplines were played - from the classic 3x3 to the 7x7, one-handed and blindfolded. The "Cubing Days" were organized by Dirk and Nico Jekle. Without officials like WCA-Delegate Leon Schmidtchen, the event would not have been possible.
