The Lake Constance fishery is a craft with a long history. Already 6000 years ago, people used the lake as a source of food. Today, the fishermen are fighting for survival: the catches are decreasing, more and more are giving up. Only about 50 fishermen are left - twelve years ago there were more than twice as many. But the demand for Lake Constance fish is unbroken. Fisheries and restaurants want to ensure transparency in this situation.
