In Lake Constance, many different fish species live. However, some of them are highly endangered – their population has been declining for years. Particularly migratory fish like the lake trout or the sturgeon are struggling. In the fish hatcheries around Lake Constance, efforts are being made to counteract: Here, fish are hatched, raised, and later released into the lake.
