Too few trainees, too many changing professions, too many missing skilled workers - there is a shortage of personnel in most industries. The main reason for this lies in the German demography: the Boomer generation, which is now retiring in the next 15 years, leaves gaps that cannot be filled by young people. These gaps are particularly serious in social professions - because these areas are needed for the functioning of our society.
