After a five-month break since the season opener in Cape Verde, the GKA Kite World Tour 2025 returned. On Germany's northernmost island of Sylt, the world's best kitesurfers competed in two disciplines: Kite-Surf (second of four events of the season) and Hydrofoil Big Air (first of two stops this year). In the women's Kite-Surf discipline, Capucine Delannoy (FRA) impressively continued her streak of success. With a strong performance, she won the title for the fourth consecutive time. In the men's category, her compatriot Theo Demanez (FRA) caused a surprise in the Kite-Surf competition. The Frenchman seized his opportunity on the world stage and celebrated his first-ever GKA event victory.
