The Nedbank Gravel Burn 2025 is a brand new 7-day gravel bike race taking place in the Eastern Cape region of South Africa. Kevin Vermaak, the founder of the legendary 8-day mountain bike stage race "Cape Epic", guarantees an excellent mix of outdoor adventure and high-class gravel bike racing with the new format. The Nedbank Gravel Burn is an 800-kilometer long gravel stage race through the diverse and impressive landscapes of South Africa. From the lush coastal forests in Knysna to the vast, fossil-rich plains of the Great Karoo, the route traverses a region shaped by geological depth, history, and time. The first edition of this newly launched adventure will take place from October 26 to November 1, 2025. The new race and format will elevate gravel racing to the next level. In its inaugural year, superstars like Tom Pidcock (GBR) and Alison Jackson (CAN) are already participating.
