Iranian from Gifhorn fights for cousin sentenced to death

Since September 2022, there has been turmoil in Iran. More and more young people are demonstrating in the streets for more freedom and human rights - and above all against the regime. Many of them are imprisoned, some face the death penalty. Iranians in Germany are also fighting for their families in their home country. One of them is 30-year-old Amir Kazemi from Gifhorn (Lower Saxony). He can hardly sleep at night. His cousin Majid was sentenced to death in Iran just for taking part in a demonstration against the regime. Three soldiers were killed there. Majid is now accused of "fighting against God".
