Chair museum in Bad Münder recalls golden times

There used to be more than 100 chair manufacturers in the Deister-Süntel valley (Lower Saxony). In the 1950s, the region was the largest producer of seating furniture in Germany. Today, the German Chair Museum Eimbeckhausen in Bad Münder is a reminder of the golden age, at least for the time being. This is because the association lacks a new generation, which could mean the end of the museum if the worst comes to the worst.
