Here are five mistakes you should avoid when getting your car washed. If you visit a self-service car wash, make sure you clean the brush with the spray, as this brush is likely to be dirty from the previous car. Don't make the rookie mistake of folding out the side mirrors, instead fold them in before you enter the car wash. It is important that you do not take your car out of neutral too early as this can upset the balance of the car wash, so follow the instructions accordingly. If you hear any noise during the cleaning process, inspect your car for possible damage before leaving the premises. Finally, if you're getting a manual car wash, make sure you have enough change on you, as you don't want to run out of change while your car is soaped up.
